I trained at the University of Bristol where I obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling. I had already completed a two year intermediate counselling course. I then went on to qualify as supervisor with a Certificate in Counselling Supervision from the University of Swansea.

I have been practising as a Person Centred Therapist since 1994. I run a busy Counselling agency in Bath which I have directed since it was set up in 1999. I also work within the NHS as a part time Fertility Counsellor. I have a small private practice and I also supervise other counsellors.

Part of my role is working with children and young people. I find this part of my work very rewarding and I am particularly interested in working with young people who have low self esteem, trauma, eating disorders, unresolved issues and depression.
